Balance 2016.2.0 release – New and Updated courses available!

Medidata Academy is excited to present the following courses and videos as part of the Balance 2016 R2 release:

1. Medidata Balance Cohorts: Overview eLearning course (Update)

In the 2016 R2 release, we have updated the existing course to reflect the new UI for cohorts, and have also included new features like parallel cohorts functionality, editing and duplicating cohorts, and manually assigning subjects to cohorts.

The course update will not affect the completion status for anyone that already completed the course. However, we strongly recommend this revised course, as it would benefit all users to familiarize themselves with the added cohort functionalities.

2. Medidata Balance Cohorts: Managing Cohort Factors eLearning course (New)

This course explains the new Cohort Factors feature that was released in R2. It also covers how to set inclusion criteria for cohorts.

3. Medidata Balance Edit Live Design eLearning course (New)

This course combines the edit live design features released in the past 2 releases. It explains how users can:

  • Add Randomization Factors
  • Add / Edit Visit Schedules
  • Create Multiple and Site-Specific Designs (in PB studies)

4. Medidata Balance Re-Randomization / Multiple Treatment Periods (New):

This eLearning course covers the new functionality of enabling multiple treatment periods and re-randomization of subjects.

All 4 courses are available through iMedidata.

5. Selecting Country as a Randomization Factor Video

This video explains the new Balance feature which enables authorized users to select country as a randomization factor to create randomization designs.

6. Replacing Deactivated Subjects in Cohorts Video

Both videos are now available on the Balance Knowledge Space for all users.
