Your Mission:

The Technical Solutions Architect is responsible for providing technical solutions to the external clients based on the knowledge of Medidata Products and understanding of the Medidata client needs.

Your Commitments:
The Technical Solutions Architect will coordinate with internal teams in order to provide support to the Technical Services team deliveries.


Your Competencies:
• Provide technical solutions and best practices guidance on Medidata products and tools to the external and internal clients
• Support development efforts by working with customers gathering requirements and participate in the projects documentation creation
• Work with internal development teams, product teams, IT, and project management team for an efficient delivery of solutions
• Suggest process/product improvements related to technical solutions to delivery and product teams
• Disseminate information regarding feature/functions to the team members.
• Participate in design meetings with Technical Services team
• Provide hands-on development support when needed
• Participate in code reviews
• Follow general process and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide scheduled updates to the Director of Technical Services


Your Education & Experience:
• Four-year college degree preferably in computer science, information systems or life sciences or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in a regulated, documented environment
• Superior organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
• A deep understanding of clinical research (Pharmaceuticals, device and/or biotech sectors)
• Extensive client facing service delivery experience
• Superior customer relationship management skills
• Total commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Flexible, team-player approach
• 5+ years of experience in managing complex software implementations (Clinical Industry experiences a plus)
• 2+ years of experience in consulting engagement assignments
• 1+ years managerial experience – managing customer relationships
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• 2+ years experience in clinical research
